Dear Oakshire Families,

Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year! I’m honored to continue serving the wonderful students, families, and staff of Oakshire Elementary School—an “A” graded school where we proudly live by our motto: “Doing what is best for children while making our school a joyous place for all.”

Creating this joyful, high-achieving environment is a team effort. Our dedicated teachers, incredible students, and hardworking staff make it possible—but it's when we have partnership with our families and community that it truly comes to life. Together, we help every student thrive and reach their fullest potential.

This year’s theme is: “Oakshire Elementary- Leveling Up Learning!”
By teaming up and sharing our expertise, we’re making sure every student has the chance not just to succeed—but to soar.

Parents, your support makes a big difference! You can help your child succeed by:

  • Ensuring they arrive at school by 8:30 a.m., ready to start the day. The first bell rings at 8:35 a.m., and instruction begins promptly at 8:45 a.m.
  • Reaching out to your child’s teacher with any questions about academics or behavior. A strong partnership between home and school helps create the best learning experience possible.

Here’s to a joyful, successful school year ahead!

Warm regards,
Mark Charlton
Principal
